FORCE MAJEURE

1. Definition of Force Majeure

“Force Majeure” refers to events that occur objectively, are unforeseeable, and cannot be remedied despite all necessary measures. These include but are not limited to:

Natural Disasters: Storms, floods, earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions.

Epidemics: Outbreaks of dangerous infectious diseases leading to travel bans/quarantines.

Social Instability: War, strikes, riots, terrorism.

Government/Authority Orders: Flight bans, border closures, lockdowns of tourist sites.

2. Handling Process

When a Force Majeure event prevents service execution:

Notification: Ticket Trek or the Service Provider will notify the customer as soon as possible via Email/SMS/Phone.

Obligation: Both Ticket Trek and the Customer are exempt from liability for compensation regarding unfulfilled services.

3. Refund & Retention Options

Depending on the policy of each Service Provider (Airline/Tour/Hotel) at the time of the event, support options typically include:

  • Credit Shell: Ticket value is retained in the system for future use (usually valid for 6 – 12 months).
  • Reschedule: Free change of departure date (fare difference may apply).
  • Refund: In special cases, the Provider may accept a refund (processing time may be longer than usual, 30 – 90 days).

Note: Ticket Trek’s processing/service fees are non-refundable.
